Year 1

Well done to Year 1 who yesterday raised £275 for our Namibia charity! They sold cakes, books, toys and DVDs to children in every age group in school.  I am really pleased that the Year 1 children have thought about the needs of our friends in Namibia, and raised the money themselves.

The children counted the money themselves, and used lots of skills in advertising and preparing their stalls.  They have been learning about Namibia as a contrasting location, and this has really brought home how important this work is.
